Welcome! It isn't much to look at now... but eventually this space will transform into what I hope is my ideal blog!
The Goal: to take back control of how I interact with the internet at large, and develope a healthier relationship with both it, and the world as a whole. Social media used to be a fun place where I found I could express myself authentically, but for a long time now I have felt jaded by the experience as a whole. I've had it with my dopamine being gamed by an algorithm! In response, I've decided to embark on an exercise in mindfulness. I may not be able to cut out all social media from my life since it is ultimately a useful thing, I can put a lid on how and why I use it. The odd glance every once and a while won't hurt, especially if I divert my productive energy into learning some HTML, CSS, ETC and putting my real thoughts here, right?
The Man: Zander! That's my name. I'm a 21 year old guy just figuring all this life junk out. I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. My biggest passion is music, that will probably be the bulk of this website's content. (Amplifiers, Instruments, Pedals, etc.. I'm a gear head in denial) My favorite instrument is the bass guitar, though I dabble in guitar as well. I also love oldschool video games and movies!
